Cabbagetown Community Center is a cute and comfy meeting space near Cabbagetown Park. There is a large meeting hall, smaller conference room, and artists workshop. Outside amenities include a spacious deck, outdoor picnic area, and a tiny tea garden. Facilities include 6 ADA bathrooms, a kitchenette with commercial popcorn machine, refridgerator, prep counters, and additional storage space. There are 5 banquet tables (8’ / up to 10 guests each), and 6 dinner tables (6’ / up to 8 guests), as well as 36 soft back chairs, 36 metal folding chairs, and an assortment of small tables and carts.

The space is managed by the Cabbagetown Initiative, and owned by the City of Atlanta. We welcome all people and encourage open, inviting, and creative programming. Rental fees are provided on a sliding scale, prioritizing accessibility and public events. Private rentals are available for groups looking for a friendly, relaxed environment with active groups in the auxiliary rooms. Full buy-outs are subject to availability. To ensure the space is available to a diverse array of people, we ask that you do not schedule more than 6 weekly sessions.

Cabbagetown Hall, thr primary meeting space, has over 1,200 square feet of space and can accommodate up to 96 people. Included in the rental is the kitchenette, two restrooms, side deck, foyer, 10 parking spaces and convenient access to Cabbagetown Park.

Update: We are updating our policies and rates to reflect our responsibilities to the neighborhood and honor our agreement with the City of Atlanta. The Community Center is available to rent for flexible folks amenable to our renovation schedule.

Panorama Room - side room with a large glass viewing window; suitable for dance, yoga, small classroom, or base camp for Park Parties. 18’ x 25’, seats 35, capacity 50

Arts Workshop - a working studio with active use, where it’s okay to get a tiny bit messy; suitable for figure drawing, crafting classes, or music lessons. 20’ x 30’, seats 24, capacity 36

Cabbagetown Neighborhood Improvement Association (CNIA) and the Cabbagetown Initiative (CICDC) meet monthly in the center, as well regularly scheduled neighbor committee functions.

NOTE: We are unable to sign long-term contracts or subleases. Please join us in keeping this space available and accessible to a wide array of use, focused on ways that benefit the large and diverse population of Atlanta.
